Rare and unusual, we haven’t come across this particular model before.

Like most mess tins, the lid has a handle to help keep it closed but can also function as as small pan / pot for cooking.

Aluminium Construction.

These do not have a carry / hanging handle on them. They’re the same standard fitting as most other mess tins so should be easy enough to find. You could even use something as rudimentary as a coat hanger.
